The Best of the MFAH

The Museum of Fine Arts Houston has put together an exhibit inspired by the book 1001 Paintings You Must See Before You Die.

I need to start checking the website more often because I would have gone to see it while I was home. The website describes it as follows:

This exhibition was inspired by the MFAH works chosen for 1001 Paintings You Must See Before You Die, a guide to the best art around the world.

The museum´s curators offered their own top recommendations from each area of the MFAH collections. These are some of the highlights of their selections.

Hopefully I will see it when I head back to Houston. If you’re interested in seeing the entire list from the book, you can see it on the web here. (I think this is the list).

Which paintings would you have put on the list?
